Meet Dr. Hemalini Thakkar, M.D., our highly experienced doctor who is committed to providing her patients with care second to none. She was raised in the Chicago-metro area and earned a degree in Biology from the San Diego State University. Dr. Thakkar went on to attend Ross University, School of Medicine, followed by an internship at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac, MI. She completed her Family Practice Residency at Bon Secours Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Thakkar is board certified in Family Practice and enjoys working with her husband at their private practice named Westgate Family Medicine. They are proud parents of three daughters and enjoy living in the community. Dr. Thakkar developed a keen interest in treating the whole patient in both a medical and aesthetic manner, which led to the opening of Pur Bliss Med Spa adjacent to her medical practice. She holds certifications in Botox, fillers, laser therapies, along with medically directed weight loss.
